International Naval Surveys Bureau - I.N.S.B. activities portfolio has been extended beyond the ship classification field to embrace also technical assistance and inspection services related to the Industrial sector, applicable to marine & non-marine installations.

The society participates actively to the Industrial sector through technical condition assessments of facilities, structures and equipment via testing, appraisal and certification activities, covering areas such as:

• Offshore & on-shore installations and industrial plants. (i.e. fixed platforms, steel structures, tanks etc),
• Oil and gas pipelines related installations,
• Lifting appliances and handling equipment. (i.e. cranes, hoisting devices etc),
• Coastal infrastructures such as Port & terminals facilities.

To ensure adequate and tailored made industrial servicing, International Naval Surveys Bureau - I.N.S.B. uses its own experts as well as selective partnerships and alliances via accredited for their expertise entities. Through such deployed business relationships, necessary know-how, acquired knowledge and expertise are being transferred to the organization, in support to owners and industrial personnel with their engineering projects and tasks.
