International Naval Surveys Bureau - I.N.S.B. Suppliers register include the below categories although non-exhaustive:
- Thickness measurers
- Divers
- Radio Electronics
- Life rafts and safety servicing
- Fire extinguishing servicing
Upon receipt of the appropriate application, the society will determine the required and applicable documentation to be submitted by the applicants and which are essential for the supplier’s evaluation towards the established specification and requirements.
International Naval Surveys Bureau - I.N.S.B. may provide subsequent approval to supplier firms providing services which fall within the above categories subject to their full compliance with the below evaluation criteria:
- To be already approved by a recognized Classification Society
Or
- To be ISO 9000:2000 certified
Or
- To be already approved by National Competent Authorities
All the approved supplier firms are entered in the relative approved register. The validity of the issued by the International Naval Surveys Bureau - I.N.S.B. Approval Document is annual, subject to verification practices for renewal. Every year the approved suppliers register is renewed and all the new approved suppliers are recorded.
