INSB within its efficient and effective services offering maintains a constant two-way dialogue with ship owners, managers or ship operators, whose ships are classified with the INSB organization.
To ensure timely provision of ship’s certification status and consequently ship’s un-interrupted service, INSB provides among others:
Notifications concerning surveys periodicity on quarterly basis via a computerized survey and certification status,
Notifications related to incoming due surveys (one month prior due date),
Notifications concerning new incoming applicable ship safety instruments,
In this context, corresponding INSB survey stations are also informed so to assist applicants maintain full compliance of their fleet with the INSB’s Rules and Regulations as well as with the IMO Conventions.
