Ship Surveyors: INSB surveyors, are experienced marine engineers or naval architects, stationed either in INSB`s survey stations offices in Greece or abroad, who actively participate, to the verification of ships or of other marine structures compliance, with the requirements of the INSB`s Rules & Regulations itself or with International or National Conventions and/or various statutory requirements, as applicable. INSB Surveyors perform and report the outcome of such surveys as carried out, attesting the actual condition of the vessel, and providing interim technical certification, at the full guidance and instructions of the INSB Head Office.

Auditors/Assessors: INSB auditors are usually maritime institution graduates, or experienced people who have shown appropriate competence, capability and capacity to perform assessments/audits pertaining either to the ISM Code and/ or to ISPS Code. They possess a educational level and background sufficient to acquire knowledge and skills of auditing techniques and of the technological and organisational context in which the audits/assessments are being conducted.
