Based on the society’s mission, the core operational activity of International Naval Surveys Bureau - I.N.S.B. is the performance of technical inspections and certification of ships-on behalf of the Flags having authorized the society- through its technical expertise and skilled manpower.
Cost leadership, quality and market development forms the concept of the society's strategic corporate direction.
In order for the International Naval Surveys Bureau - I.N.S.B. classification society to serve best the corporate strategy, has recognized two major components, which include the optimization of critical business operations and the optimization of customer service & value. Managing Risk is also among the main concepts and goals of the society.
I.N.S.B. within its strategic route is also practicing quality model assessments & management systems to determine key drivers for enhancing its key based capabilities. (i.e. ISO 9000 series, TQM standards).
The identified customer expectations are concentrated on a greater quality control, advanced reliable scheduling and faster response time to queries, whilst forming part of the introduced by I.N.S.B. critical success factors of performance.
